Body filler
Also called Bondo, polyester filler, filler, bog, spot putty, glazing putty
Polyester paste mixed with a cream hardener by feel, which cures in minutes and sands like chalk. It fills the dents primer cannot. Spot putty is the same idea thinned to fill pinholes only — a one-part paste that shrinks as it dries and must never, ever be laid on thick.
In practice
"Bondo it" means fill and sand, whatever brand is in the tin. Nobody has ever said "apply polyester filler" out loud in a shop.

Origin
Bondo is a 1950s brand of polyester filler that became the noun, the verb and the smell. "Bog" is the British and Australian equivalent, and equally generic.
